Connect is an API-first embedded insurance platform, developed to make it easy for businesses to incorporate insurance solutions into their offerings.

Embedded insurance coverage is developed by a carrier, but distributed through non-insurance channels. It often complements another product or service that is offered, and also has a limited insured amount.

By launching its insurance offering with Connect, Root can offer their customers finance and insurance protection for their product with one simple payment, embedded at the point of sale, the firm explained.
