JetBlue Vacations partners with WeatherPromise

JetBlue Vacations, the travel package provider of JetBlue, announced a new partnership with weather coverage provider WeatherPromise. As part of the partnership, customers booking through JetBlue Vacations will be reimbursed if their getaway experiences significant rainfall. Customers can select coverage for all trip components, including car rentals and activities.

WeatherPromise determines “excessive rain” based on destination, trip length, and historical weather data. If rainfall meets the qualifying threshold, customers are automatically reimbursed. Coverage is backed by Greenlight Re.
