Habit launches a new insurance product for opticians

Through this solution, Habit wants to ensure the democratization of the sector, through mass access to an “embedded insurance” product that, as a rule, has been reserved for large optical networks.

The product available is a comprehensive protection solution for prescription glasses, prescription sunglasses, prescription lenses and new frames, with a large potential market as it is applicable to all brands (without restrictions), customer profiles (includes glasses for children) or uses (includes sports glasses).

The Insurance product is easy to explain and due to the existence of several capital levels with pre-defined premiums, it does not require any simulator / quotation engine.

The value proposition for the end customer is based on a simple protection solution for everyday unforeseen events; supported by a digital or telephone experience; with flexibility in service and response to customer service queries 24/day and 365 days/year; an SLA of response within 48 hours, with guaranteed repair or replacement.
