Fidamy appoints David Geier as Chief Commercial Officer to DriveEuropean Expansion in Embedded Insurance

In his new role, he will be responsible for driving sales, marketing, and strategic partnerships while leading Fidamy’s expansion across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and the wider EU market.

Fidamy, one of Europe’s newest embedded insurance operators, has appointed David Geier as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Geier brings experience from Volkswagen Groups’s strategic partnerships and Silicon Valley start-ups to the embedded insurance provider.

Fidamy operates as a fully standalone and independent business but has substantial backing of NN Group, a leading European insurer. It delivers embedded insurance solutions that help B2B partners unlock new revenue streams and strengthen customer loyalty. Fidamy is focussed on non-life insurance with propositions such as electronic device protection, travel and cancellation coverage, and shipping protection. All propositions are designed to be seamlessly embedded into digital customer journeys and to challenge more traditional variants of such products. This is achieved through innovations in the coverages, customer journey, insurance operations, tech, and more.

David Geier, Chief Commercial Officer at Fidamy: “The Dutch market shows how embedded insurance can become part of everyday services. We already see this with e-commerce fashion companies offering shipping protection alongside priority delivery, or with e-bike brands combining coverage with GPS-based theft subscriptions. Our next step is to scale similar solutions across Europe, tailoring them to each market’s needs and working with distribution partners to enhance their core offerings with innovative protection. What sets us apart is our robust platform and our highly capable tech and insurance team, combining deep industry expertise with agility to deliver fast, seamless integrations for our partners.”

Fidamy enters the market at a time when embedded insurance is gaining strong momentum. Its platform is built to power insurance operations across multiple products, industries, carriers, and countries, offering end-to-end capabilities from customer service and pricing to claims, carrier management, and distribution partner success.
