DriveX Technologies raises $1.2 million

DriveX Technologies has raised $1.2 million to enhance its AI-powered windshield damage detection technology and expand its capabilities. The round was led by Carglass Estonia, with participation from Lithuanian and Slovenian business angels, existing investors, and a development grant from Estonia’s applied research program.

Openly announces $193 million in financing

Home insurance startup Openly announced a $193 million growth financing round led by Eden Global Partners, a merchant bank that specializes in providing long-term capital solutions, and Allianz X, the investments arm of Allianz. The round includes participation from existing investors such as Advance Venture Partners, Obvious Ventures, Clocktower Technology Ventures, Point Judith Capital, and others. Openly’s growth financing includes $123 million in equity capital, led by Eden Global Partners, and a $70 million senior note from Allianz X. Eden’s investment in Openly follows its initial investment as the Series D lead.

Rainbow Announces $8 Million Series A Funding to Expand Small Business Insurance Offerings

Rainbow, the digitally-enabled managing general underwriter (MGU) building tailored small business insurance products, has announced raising $8 million in Series A funding, led by Zigg Capital. The financing, which closed in Q4 2024, will accelerate the company’s plans to expand its specialized underwriting approach to additional business verticals, with Rainbow’s second program recently launching in select states, followed by a nationwide roll out.

GRAM invests in UniVista

UniVista Insurance, a distributor of insurance products and services to Hispanic communities in Florida and Texas, has received a majority investment from entities affiliated with GRAM’s Americas Buyout Fund, the private equity division of GRAM.

Matic raises $30 million

Digital insurance broker Matic Insurance has secured $30 million from Vistara Growth, a provider of flexible growth capital to software and technology enabled services companies. Matic will use the proceeds to increase distribution partnerships and develop its technology platform.

Bolttech announces Series C funding led by Dragon Fund to drive continued expansion

Insurtech firm Zopper raises $25M in to ramp up its digital infra

Insurtech startup Zopper announced that it has raised $25 million in series D funding, led by Elevation Capital and Dharana Capital. The round also saw participation from existing investor Blume Ventures. Zopper, which is also backed by Creaegis, Bessemer Venture Partners, and ICICI Venture, will use the fresh funding to ramp up its digital technology infrastructure, by strengthening its insurance distribution platform.
